I have 15 years’ experience writing and editing fiction, both my own, published in various magazines around the internet, and at Lucent Dreaming, an independent literary publisher, where I edit and proofread both long and short fiction, and poetry.
My favorite books to read are literary fiction, particularly those that are darkly beautiful or make me feel uneasy. I love internal, stream-of-consciousness style books such as those of Thomas Bernhard or W.G. Sebald. I also love beautiful books, like my all time favorite The Peregrine.
I have also enjoyed plenty of sci-fi and fantasy over the years, more books than I can count, and I can still get a thrill out of an adventure to a new planet or a magical world.
