Our Services and Pricing

We offer three ‘levels’ of service, depending on how much attention your project needs, and what your goals are.

Proofreading

$0.01 per word ($0.02 per word for academic projects)

We’ll read your work with a close eye, and catch any typos, mis-spellings, mis-used words, incorrect grammar, and formatting issues.

Copyediting

$0.03 per word ($0.04 per word for academic projects)

For the copyediting service (sometimes called line-editing) we’ll catch everything in the proofreading service PLUS we’ll tighten up sentence structure, suggest words or sections that can be cut, we’ll notate repeated/overused words and suggest alternatives, we’ll pay attention to tone and style and word choice, and provide thoughtful suggestions to improve the flow and to highlight your personal style.

Developmental edit

$0.05 per word ($0.06 per word for academic projects)

For our top tier service, we’ll provide everything in the proofreading and copyediting services PLUS we’ll provide big-picture feedback on your book, with critiques of the structure, plot, character arcs, and more.
